Non-Technical Computer Class for Quilters

This is not a class for tekkies. This class will provide you with quick tips and methods to use the computer for your quilting and communication needs. You will learn more about printing, PDF files, Zip files and how to move around your computer and applications.

The class assumes that you have a PC with office software (like Microsoft Word or Works), a printer, and some kind of simple graphics software. I can tell you how to make your scanner work if you want and also how to get those pictures out of your camera and what to do with them when you do. What I cannot teach you how to do is type as I never learned myself.

If you can manage it this is a good time to get a product like Photoshop Elements. You do not have to go get the expensive ones, if you look on the internet you will find older versions for sale much cheaper. I have the latest and greatest but for most things I prefer version 2.0. This is not a prerequisite for the class however.
